SHIPPING
How do you ship?
We ship UPS, and USPS Priority Mail. 
 
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship world-wide. All international orders will have shipping or postage added after order is ready. Most all international is shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail.
 
How long does shipping take?
In almost all cases we ship the within 24 hours of receiving an order. If you provide us with an email address, you will receive notification of shipping date and tracking number information.
 
Will I be charged for taxes?
Shipments to a Florida address (unless sales tax certificate is issued) will be taxed 6.5% Florida sales tax.
On international shipments, you will be responsible for Customs and any tax fees.
 
 
 
RETURNS & WARRANTY

 

IMPORTANT: Keep your original purchase receipt. Also; FST filters are only compatible with a specific FST filter head/manifold/base. Use with any other filter head/manifld/base could cause filter damage, fuel leakage, filter bursting, or improper fuel flow and NO warranty.

 

  • FST's Liability, if any, for damages relating to any allegedly defective FST product, shall under any legal or equitable theory, be limited to the actual price paid for such product, and shall in no event include incidental or consequential damages of any kind. Under no circumstances shall FST be liable for compensation, reimbursement or damages on account of the loss of present or prospective profits, expenditures, investments or commitments.

  • FST shall not under any circumstances be liable for damages of any kind resulting from installation or repair of FST products performed by any person who is not a duly authorized employee or agent of FST.

  • FST warrants its products for materials and workmanship within 60 days of the original purchase date of the original purchaser.

  • RETURNS: Returns are granted "only" to the original purchaser with copy of original sales receipt. Merchandise/product may not be returned without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number issued by FST first. The RGA number must be clearly marked/placed on the outside of the return shipping package and on any paperwork/correspondence. Please contact FST to receive an RGA # and have the original product receipt and pertinent information available to receive the RGA #.

  • All products/items are inspected and Non-defective product/items will be returned collect and no credit issued and the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs both to & from FST. 

 

How often do I need to change the filter?  (this is our #1 asked question)

 

This depends; how dirty is your fuel? You may be able to run several months on a spin-on/filter, then all of a sudden, it plugs up due to one batch of dirty fuel. This even happens with race fuels that have sat in tanks too long and collected water.

We recommend to change the fuel filter any time that you change your oil filter. Or, to get some type of time frame; every time you change the oil filter, remove the FST fuel filter and drain it into some type of clear container and let the fuel set; after a short time, look to see if there is any water (it will separate from the fuel)...if the "fuel" looks clear, then put a film of oil or grease on the filter seal and put it back on...if the fuel looks cloudy, change the filter.
